In September of 2012, Foth & Van Dyke, LLC was seeking to hire a sign consultant for their new 96,000 square foot corporate headquarters in DePere WI. This scope was to include design of a monument/ground sign (including tenants), exterior wayfinding directional signs, interior identification signage and wall graphics.
After interviews and portfolio submittals, the selection committee at Foth chose to work with Appleton Sign Company in a design-build capacity. We engaged the visions of the architect and owner to achieve a cohesive signage plan that not only fulfilled the desires of both parties, but created functional signage for traffic and wayfinding needs as well.
The smaller monument sign, by the facility entrance, has an updatable feature that allows the visitor side panel to be changed frequently using a simple magnetic digital print. This was a desire of the client governance team to showcase various company achievements or events.
Our design, project manager, sales and install crews worked closely with our client, the project architect and the general contractor to exceed deadline requirements in a transparent process.
